The smallest working post office in the United States: 61 square feet, formerly an irrigation pipe shed.
The original Ochopee post office burned down in 1953. The postmaster moved operations into a shed used for storing irrigation pipe, and the federal government never got around to upgrading it. It still sorts mail for a few hundred people across three counties and two Native American reservations. You can buy a stamp. You should buy a postcard, because the postmark is the souvenir.
